Our Intention

The world is in the midst of a leadership crisis in our communities, schools, businesses, and governments …globally. We want to impact that. With systems thinking, contemporary perspectives, a dose of grit, and a heap of humor we transform leaders into the curious, compassionate, and global stewards our future deserves.

MEET KIMBERLY

Kimberly Kleiman-Lee
CEO & Founder
Principle Human

Kimberly Kleiman-Lee knows that humans are the most interesting part of work. She attributes any career success to her insatiable curiosity and voracious desire to learn about humans at work and in groups. She’s a pattern studier and tirelessly seeks innovative ways to develop leaders.

She, like others, thinks the world is in the midst of a leadership crisis. Kimberly launched her consultancy to launch more leaders into the world. Her clients include AIG, Advocate Aurora Healthcare, The Cleveland Clinic, Carrier, Eaton, GE, Jabil, Whirlpool, and more

Kimberly led General Electric’s Leadership Learning & Development strategy and solutions at GE Crotonville. For seven years, her intuitional and methodical approach to individual and team development earned her the respect of leaders throughout GE. As a player-coach serving 330,000 employees, her individual work was focused GE’s top 400 leaders - teaching, coaching, provoking, and inspiring change.

Kimberly prides herself on evolving Coaching engagements into trusted partnerships focused on actions and outcomes. Her methodical approach aims to assess talent based on data (eg: DISC, EQi, Hogan, custom 360) and design coaching plans that build personal capability and impact a business’ bottom line.

Her workshops and keynotes engage the β€˜Whole Human’ often with humor, rarely with PowerPoint. Kimberly believes that the best way to learn about the world is to be out in it. Thus, leaders might find themselves in a Maasai village in Northern Tanzania, doing chores at a horse farm in Wyoming, walking the battlefields of Normandy, getting lost in Manhattan, or training with the Israeli army. She thrives on helping humans simplify their approach to leading in this fast-paced, sometimes chaotic, and always uncertain world.

Kimberly obtained her BA from the University of Wisconsin Madison and her Masters in Adult Education and Leadership Studies from Loyola University Chicago. She is a hopeful guitarist, themed cake decorator, certified Black Belt (Six Sigma kind), Siberian Husky lover (x3), die-hard Packer fan, and still doesn’t understand why humans under the age of 20 only β€˜selfie’ 1⁄2 of their face for Snap.

Kimberly lives in Delafield, Wisconsin with her husband of 23 years, Bob, and their 3 children: Katie (19), Alyssa (17), and Sam (15).

WE BELIEVE

humans are whole

Human behavior can’t be compartmentalized. How you do anything is how you do everything. Thus, we assess, study, and engage the entire human. β€˜Professional’ development can’t help but impact a human’s personal life and vice versa.  As a matter of fact, we count on that!

a leader in every chair

High performing work environments know that exceptional talent with game-changing ideas can be found everywhere at any time. Develop all employees to lead with a capital β€œL”.

Simple is in

Humans are complicated and messy, but our work doesn’t need to be. We design (or redesign) the strategies, plans, processes, and behaviors that get you through work and onto the higher ambitions that await you.

Learning Cultures are More Powerful Learning Departments

When employees are expected, empowered, and equipped to own their own development, organizations groom a solution-oriented workforce that is unstoppable.

Culture Explains a Lot

The health of your culture determines the success of every ambition. Build, edit, evaluate, and nurture a culture that works for you, not against you.
