Team Coaching

Ever feel like you were on the wrong team or playing the wrong sport? Do you have a nagging hunch that with a bit of data, a splash of education, and a courageous dialogue your team could be performing at extraordinary levels? Do you simply want to increase the levels of trust among your humans? Well, you are in great company! Healthy Teams is our top requested workshop. This team-building adventure, however, is found in dialogue …not on a rope.

This dynamic workshop with a coaching format curates powerful development opportunities through a series of interactions with the team leader and team. Virtual and in-person sessions, led by a coach, engage the humans and drive accountability throughout the journey. Designed for teams of 5-20(ish), your talent will begin with the Table Group’s Team Assessment, participate in a 2-day experiential workshop, and depart with several new skills, identified team roles, and an accountability plan.

Team Assessments

This is the silver bullet. We will help you evaluate the health of your team dynamic through interviews, evaluative instruments, and observation. Seeing your team in action will bring the data to life as we diagnose observed behaviors against our Healthy Teams score card! This multidimensional approach studies team concepts like trust, conflict, ambition, achievement, operational rigor, accountability, performance to objectives, communication, inclusion, and more.

We take the data, sort for themes, and create a comprehensive report for the leader and team. The debrief creates a common awareness of their behavior and an appreciation for the impact their behavior has on the team’s dynamic and overall performance. A robust development plan soon follows…then let the coaching begin!

Team Coaching and Development

Our coaching brings the development plan to life. The customized plan is created in partnership with the team leader, but a typical engagement will start with an unpacking of the team assessment, an exploration of shared awareness, and an experiential workshop to define the desired and necessary behaviors. The team coach will then attend the team’s meetings, operating reviews, strategy sessions, town hall meetings, etc. to observe and coach to the agreed-upon behaviors. Typical team coaching engagements include an assessment and debrief, 10 coaching sessions, and two development sessions. Check ups to support major changes are highly recommended!
